Gareth arrived on time to give us a quote for the work which seemed competitive. On the day he arrived on time and worked solidly all day through wind and pouring rain to deliver a really nice repair to our dry stone wall. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gareth.

What a thoroughly nice chap. Gareth turned up on time every time no matter what the weather, did a nice job for us on our patio, paths , fencing and gate including some nice little touches to improve the overall effect and even brought his own kettle to make his own tea! Totally trustworthy and pleased to have found him on this web site, as we all know it's a lottery when choosing tradesmen from a list of people you don't know. Very pleased. Gareth suggested changes to our design to keep us in budget - provided a competitive quote and stuck to the price in the final invoice – despite delivery delays and unexpected hitches! He worked solidly on the job until completed - always clearing up and leaving minimum clutter while working. He gave us regular updates on the work and finished up the site adding a tiny extra border wall which looks smashing. We are delighted with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Gareth did a great job rebuilding our 3m high, listed wall and relaying original york stone flags in our courtyard. Neither project was straight forward as he had to work with lime mortars and use the existing stone and bricks. I was very pleased with the thoughtful way he approached the tasks. I will have no hesitation in using him for other projects.

I was very impressed with Gareth (and I am not easy to please). He phoned when he said, he arrived when he said and the work took the time he said. His quote was cheaper than others. I felt confident to leave my key with him and he catered for the dog. I will definitely use him again and have no hesitation in recommending him.
